Ponies!! Kitties!! Moving!!

After spending most of the day getting ready to move back into our house from the townhouse we stayed in during the reconstruction, Grandma decided that we all needed a break. Michelle's mom has a bunch of horses on her land that had colts recently so we took Jack out to see the baby ponies. She also has a litter of kittens so he was excited to see those as well.

The horses came running to the gate when we showed up. Most of them were friendly but we had been told to watch out with the younger ones cause they were nibblers, and to watch out for the colts' moms. Jack really enjoyed going out to see them, he just LOVES animals.

Grandma helped him feed some of the grass to one of the ponies. He was so excited and just giggled when its mouth got close to his hand. It was fun to watch.

Clockwise from top left: Some of the younger horses; Beyond the gate, getting a drink, is the new colt with its Mommy; the Mommy; Other horses that came to say, "Hi!"

Jackson also got to hold the runt of the kitty litter. It was about half the size of the other kittens. I didn't get a picture of that one, but I did get a picture of him in his car seat with one of the kittens.

Jackson is an awesome helper. We had matching brooms sweeping the entry way so Grandma took our picture.

He enjoyed emptying the drawers and cupboards into boxes then sitting in the empty drawer or cupboard. I'm glad he was there to keep us laughing through all our packing.
