Eastern Idaho State Fair

We took Jack to the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot this weekend. We were visiting Grandma Lissa in Rexburg for Labor Day Weekend. The Coates' had a booth set up for Waterline Pool & Spa so we went with Grandma and Uncle Mike to help out with the booth for part of Saturday - and to see the animals in the petting zoo.

(L) There were goats...
(R) And a colt (It's not dead, it's only 3 weeks old, FYI)

(L)He liked the big turtles. The littlest one was eating an apple. Jack loves apples too so they bonded.
(R)There were ducks too!

At the end of the petting zoo, they had the all the puppies for sale. We spent a lot of time standing at the gate watching all the puppies. Jack loves dogs. And kitties, but there weren't any kitties at the fair.

(L) Mommy held the Yorkie for Jack to pet. He called it Dodo because it looks like Dad's dog JoJo.

(R) Then fell in love with the boxer puppy. If it wasn't 500 I would've bought it that day. Oh, and the fact that Jack makes enough messes I don't need a puppy around to eat the couch cushions. Although it could be nice to potty train them both at the same time :) I'm only kidding!!

After the petting zoo we walked through the stables. Most of the horses were out being judged so there were only 4 to see. Jack likes ponies.

After the ponies, we spent some time in the kiddie ag area. Jack played in a corn box (like a sand boxx but filled with corn), rode a pedal tractor, and learned how to milk a cow.
